My name is Despina Lekosioti and I came up with the idea for this website when I realised how many aspiring female scientists around the world get dismotivated away from their goals because "they will never be able to achieve as much as men". Also, I made this website to be a place to learn and be proud. Maybe it was because of a biology topic to learn, or simple curiosity, the reason why you decided to spend time on this website.
